Made this hat with Lion Brand's wool ease thick & quick. It's worked up as a long rectangle, then folded and sewn into a square shape. The back of the neck is closed up with a little triangle. I've made similar hats out of granny squares, and I just wanted to test how it looked, and worked out knit as one long piece instead of three squares. I'm pleased with it, and it's quite comfy.
